Master class by Alexander Vinitsky

January 10, 2009 guitar player and composer Alexander Vinitsky holds a seminar called “Classic Guitar & Jazz”. The event addresses the widest audience: Alexander welcomes tutors and students of any kind of a musical school or a college, non-professional guitar players and fans, — all and of any age who can read notes.

Seminar’s topics are:

• Jazz and classic guitar – intro
• Fingerstyle – playing styles of jazz-rock, blues, latino, ragtime
• Playing without notes. Playing by letter symbols, basics of arrangements, improvisation and accompaniment.
• Jazz cadences. Blues, Bossa Nova, Samba, Ragtime
• Accord technique, rhythmic and coordination of the right hand’s fingers. Velocity training and development.
